Pre-requisites

Anybody who is interested in learning Java EE 6 technology by actually writing code is welcome to attend. Attendees are assumed to have some enterprise Java programming experience as mentioned below.
  • Some Java programming experience
  • Some enterprise programming experience using Java

 

Software Required

  • Java Standard Development Kit (JDK) version 1.6.0_17+ for Operating System other than Mac OS X (download), 1.6.0_015+ for Mac OS X
    • These are requirement for running GlassFish v3.
  • NetBeans 6.8 with GlassFish v3 (download)
    • Download and install the "Java" bundle or the "All" bundle
