IDM Reporting
The goal of this hands-on lab is to get you exposed to the Sun IDM
environment for the first time in which you will learn your
first login using the differents idm interfaces.
Expected duration: 30 minutes
(excluding homework)
Prerequisites
This hands-on lab assumes you have minimum programming
experience.
Software Needed
Before you begin, you need to install the following software on your
computer.
OS platforms you can use
- Windows
- Solaris x86, Solaris Sparc ( process is not
cover)
- Linux (process is not cover)

Exercise 0: Execute,Download and Configure
Reports
The goal of this exercise is to let you experience
about how to execute a report in IDM.

Executing Reports
In this step, you are going to
login into the The Identity Manager Administrator interface and
execute some reports.
- Open a Web browser and
type the following address into the address bar:
- http://localhost:8080/idm/
- Enter the User ID and Password
- Use the Configuratior
account
- Click the Report tab and
select the Run Report Page
- Scroll down the page and select the Today's Activity Audit log report.
- Click the Run Button.

- After you clicked the the Run Button You will see a screen
results like th the image below.
- This report shows you all activities done in idm.

- Now repeat the steps to execute the All Users reports. See the image
below.
- The All users reports in a User Report type that shows you the
users created in IDM

- After you clicked the Run button the results should
appear like the image below.

Download Reports
- Click again on the the Download Button but under the Download PDF. See the
image below.
